The Office of the Sheriff has many resources available, one of which is our Drone Program. We currently have a couple of drones and multiple operators that can deploy the aircraft devices. The drone is used for search and rescue operations, fugitive apprehension, crime scene documentation, severe accident documentation, surveillance with operations, natural disaster assessment and fire scenes where thermal imaging is needed to determine hot spots.
