Citizens On Patrol

Several of the Citizens Academy Alumni have elected to receive an additional six weeks of follow-up training to go on and participate in the Citizens on Patrol Service (COPS). These individuals are instrumental in providing additional services to the community such as:

• Perform commercial and residential checks

• Help with traffic management

• Render first aid when necessary

• Provide funeral escorts

• Attend community social events

• Perform community patrol services throughout the County
