The Special Investigations Unit is responsible for investigating and detecting illegal narcotic violations, prosecuting those responsible, and removing drugs from our community. Working closely with federal, state and other agencies in and out of our jurisdiction, these Investigators work diligently to promote safe and law abiding communities throughout the county. The unit works not only with street level narcotics, but also with complex investigations and intelligence gathering on suspected drug dealers within our county. Other duties of this unit include performing search warrants and controlled narcotic transactions.
